After being released for over 10 months, the hype for AVENGERS: ENDGAME (2019) has yet to die down. People are still talking about the epic conclusion to the Infinity Saga of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Such is the case with many figurine collectors’ community where many still anticipate for the announcement and release of some of their beloved characters from the movie.

Last year, about a month before the release of the movie, Hot Toys presented collectors with a brand new Thanos collectible figure, featuring the Mad Titan in his full battle gear.

Many collectors were impressed at how stunningly detailed this collectible figure is. At that point, it was regarded as the most screen-accurate Thanos collectors could get from Hot Toys. It wasn’t long until the collectors’ community started to have divided opinions. Upon the release of AVENGERS: ENDGAME, many collectors begin to realize that this collectible figure is not as screen-accurate as it was initially perceived, specifically the accessory included. It’s because the Mad Titan didn’t use the gold Infinity Gauntlet in the movie, but instead a red Nano Gauntlet.

While most collectors were nevertheless excited for the collectible figures, those of different opinion hope that Hot Toys would make an update to it by including a more screen-accurate accessory. Unfortunately, the update never happened and the final product for the collectible figure was released last month.

But believe us when we say this, Hot Toys know exactly what collectors want. Today, many collectors were delighted to welcome another collectible figure from AVENGERS: ENDGAME. This time, it’s the THANOS (BATTLE-DAMAGED VERSION) collectible figure which would give collectors the screen-accuracy factor they’re looking for!

Frankly speaking, it wasn’t exactly much of a surprise to see this as some probably had already saw this coming a while ago. The Mad Titan in his battle-damaged form was previously teased in several photos of the Endgame Thor collectible figure. Knowing that it’s only a matter of time before it is announced, some collectors decided to hold off from pre-ordering the previous version and patiently waited… And the inevitability has finally arrived.

“I am… Inevitable!” – Thanos, AVENGERS: ENDGAME (2019)

Five years after the Mad Titan snapped away half of the universe’s population, the Avengers forged a plan to travel into the past to retrieve the Infinity Stones to undo the decimation. They were successful in bringing everyone back with a Nano Gauntlet built to harness the power of the six Infinity Stones. But unknowingly to the Avengers, the Mad Titan of an alternate reality discovered their plan and intends to use the Gauntlet for himself to fulfil his destiny by once again eliminating half of the universe’s population and those who stand in his way.

A great battle ensued between the forces of good and evil. In the final moment, Thanos finally got his hands on the Gauntlet. With no one else to stop Thanos, Tony Stark made one final attempt to prevent him from performing the snap. Without breaking a sweat, the Mad Titan was able to fling him away with one hit, being confident that he has already won. It was only then he realized that he no longer possessed the Infinity Stones as Tony Stark had deviously transferred them onto his own gauntlet. Left in horror, the Mad Titan watched from afar as Tony Stark performed the snap. Realizing that his arrogance and overconfidence has led to the decimation of his entire army, Thanos accepted his defeat as he joins his forces and faded into dust.
